Text message (SMS) terms
What the program is
PepSmartUSA sends text messages only to customers who ask for them. The messages are order reminders (a link to finish a checkout you started, with a discount code) and occasional offers about new compounds or published certificates of analysis. Messages come from our toll-free number, (844) 588-0357.
How you opt in
On the first step of checkout at pepsmartusa.com/checkout there is an unchecked box that reads: "Text me a reminder if I don't finish this order, plus occasional offers from PepSmartUSA (up to 4 msgs/month). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Consent is not required to purchase." with links to these SMS terms and the privacy policy beside it. Entering a mobile number and ticking that box is the only way to be added. It is never pre-checked, and we do not add numbers from any other source.
What you'll receive
- After opting in: a confirmation message.
- If you leave checkout without paying: one reminder with a link to finish and a discount code.
- Occasionally: an offer or a note that new certificates were published. Expect at most a few messages per month.
Sample message: "PepSmartUSA: your cart is saved. Finish your order with 10% off, code COMEBACK10: [link] Reply STOP to opt out."
How to stop or get help
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one confirmation and nothing further.
- Reply HELP for help, or email support@pepsmartusa.com.
Cost and carriers
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message frequency varies as described above.
Privacy
Your mobile number is used only for this program and is never sold or shared for marketing. Messages are delivered through Twilio. See our privacy policy.
